Grower Input on Research Needed

Apples in orchard

The tree fruit entomology group in the eastern US is beginning collaborative work to develop new and updated strategies for integrated pest management strategies on apples and peaches. This effort will focus on all key pests, with the intent to develop programs that will allow growers to manage arthropod pests in a sustainable manner, both from an economic and pesticide regulatory perspective.

To help guide the group’s objectives and strategies, we are seeking grower input on pest management priorities of each state and where research efforts should be focused. Please follow this link to participate in a short survey (approximately 5 minutes) to help us get this information.
